'HANAKO NO YUME'

Hellbach is a Berlin based composer and producer of electronic music. Using his uncompromising analogue approach, his compositions are an eclectic blend of various genres like ambient, Berlin School and Neoclassical, with influences reaching from Brian Eno to Kraftwerk.

'Hanako no yume' is the third and final chapter of Hellbachs 'Hikikomori trilogy' It's a new year for Taro and Hanako. A Japanese superstition states that the dream of the first night predicts the dreamer's fortune for the following year. It is Hatsuyume. What kind of dream will it be?

‘Hachi’ is the a song from the album ‘Hikikomori II’, a new ambient work about the rental sister Yamada Hanako.

‘Letzter Tag im Paradies’ is the title song from Hellbachs fifth album - it completes Hellbachs trilogy of introspective ambient works, which began in 2022 with the releases of ‚Ein Jahr kein Mensch‘ and ‚Upanishad‘.

‘Ralf’ is from the EP 'Études de Düsseldorf' and a hommage to german music pioneers KRAFTWERK and their influence on electronic music.

‘Ekam Sat’ is a song from Hellbachs fourth album ‘Upanishad’ - a soothing yet eerie musical experience that is even more introspective and reclusive than its predecessor. Inspired by eastern philosophy and meditation, it is classic ambient at its core - focused on being a soundtrack for a journey to a place beyond your eyes.

‘Tausend Uhr’ (Thousend O’Clock) is a song from Hellbachs third album ‘Ein Jahr kein Mensch’ (One Year No Human). The album was recorded over a span of twelve months in short, almost manic bursts and it is a collection of compositions that are both personal reassurances of one’s own existence and signs of life to an outside world that appeared like an eerie dream for some time.

‚Don John' is a tip of the cap to 80s synthwave and adolescent life behind the Iron Curtain, where the weekly Miami Vice episode was an otherworldly escape from the urban humdrum of daily reality.

‚Ostkreuz‘ is the final advance single of Hellbachs upcoming second album ‚Berlin - Nordhausen‘ and a haunting journey into the pulsating heart of nighttime Berlin. Raw analogue sequences and deep kicks, ghostly pads and dreamlike arpeggios define the sound of the city's east side, between RAW and Berghain - the world’s melting pot of hedonism and electronic music.

'Intertrans I' is a song from the EP 'Stadt im Feuerschein' (City in the Firelights). It's a calm and at the same time eerie ambient journey into early childhood memories. 'As I move forward on my artistical journey, I try to capture these transcendent and intimate moments of musical expression as unchanged as possible. The less tampering with the creative process, the less technology and post-production involved, the better.'
